SiriusPoint president and COO Prashanth Gangu said that the insurance industry has “massively underestimated” the timeline for InsurTech development, arguing that it could take 20 years for new entrants to become market leaders.

In an interview with Inside P&C, Gangu argued that InsurTechs are playing the “long game”, but despite the slower-than-expected progress, investor interest has continued unabated.
