Willis: US commercial price increases slow to 7% in third quarter from Q2

OLD DONT USE OLD

Commercial lines price increases lost momentum in the third quarter, the latest pricing report from Willis Towers Watson showed, with rates for all lines of business collectively rising by more than 7%, down from just below 8% last quarter.

Among the highlights from the report, professional liability business had the largest price increase in the third quarter, and property rate gains accelerated after starting to moderate earlier in the year.
