P&C retailer Epic Insurance Brokers struck its first deal of the year with the acquisition of marine agency Oversea Yacht Insurance in a move to expand its specialty offerings.

Oversea provides domestic and international boat insurance coverage to yachts ranging from 30 feet to 300 feet, and it operates from offices in San Diego, California and Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
