Axis names Tizzio to replace insurance CEO Wilson

Axis Capital is replacing the CEO of its insurance business Peter Wilson with former Navigators CEO Vince Tizzio, the Bermuda-based company has announced.

Tizzio has joined the company as a senior adviser, effective immediately, and will transition into the top job on June 1.
