Bank of America: Q4 results should reflect ‘fairly average’ cat activity for primary carriers

Despite the impact of the December tornadoes in Kentucky, the Marshall fire in Colorado, windstorms in Europe and floods in Canada, fourth quarter catastrophe loads should be “fairly average” for primary carriers and “modestly below-average” for reinsurers, according to Bank of America equity analysts.
