Executives at commercial carrier Travelers have said tougher cyber security protocols implemented by insureds and those mandated by insurers are having a “meaningful impact” on reducing claims frequency, not just at Travelers, but across the market.

The executives were speaking on an earnings call on Thursday morning, shortly after the company soundly beat Wall Street estimates and reported record fourth-quarter net income.
