The pandemic has taken focus away from the threats posed by cyber and environmental risks, which remain bigger threats in both the medium- and long-term, and also from developing threats such as space exploration, a senior Marsh executive has said.

According to Carolina Klint, the broker’s risk management leader for Continental Europe, while infectious disease is listed at five on short-term risks this year, it doesn’t make the top 10 for medium- or long-term risks.
