Aon announced today it has formalized the inception of its new strategic Solutions and Innovation (SSI) practice within the North American commercial risk solutions division, promoting Ward Ching and Michael Gruetzmacher to head the practice.

Prior to his promotion, Ching worked as Aon’s managing director for the US western region based in San Francisco.
