Specialist insurer Hiscox US has promoted Mike Maio to senior vice president and head of its underwriting center.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the executive will report directly to Hiscox USA CEO Kevin Kerridge.

Maio has worked at Hiscox since 2008, holding various underwriting and leadership roles, including senior underwriter and regional manager.
