Average commercial P&C premium increases slowed to 6.6% in Q1 compared to 8.7% in Q4 2021, as cyber prices showed their first sign of deceleration, according to The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB).

The three-month period marked the 18th consecutive quarter of premium increases, although the trajectory showed a sign of moderation, with most lines showing lower average rises than in Q4 by at least two percentage points or more.
