Aon has appointed John Katilus to lead its US renewables property brokerage business, with the executive joining from Marsh, where he held various roles over a 23-year period.

As a senior vice president at Marsh, he specialized in power and utility placements for multinational companies.

He will now be joining Aon as US property renewables placement leader.
