Ukraine aviation losses could be 7x World Trade Center loss: Gallagher

Losses arising from the Ukraine conflict could be seven times the final loss amount for the World Trade Center (WTC) attack and four times the initial WTC reserve, according to the latest edition of Gallagher’s “Plane Talking” report.

The broker warned that the Ukraine conflict had thrown into question the sustainability of the aviation insurance market itself.
