A judge in North Carolina yesterday granted WTW’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Alliant and three surety executives who moved to the rival broker, in a case that accuses Alliant of “unlawfully” poaching, and the individual defendants of breaching their restrictive covenants.

The complaint, previously reported by Inside P&C, was filed in late June and names John Thomas, Andrew Bennett and Jennifer Boyers Gullett as defendants.
