Aon has filed for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against WTW related to the 11-person team construction team lift that saw staff including Michael Scott and Thomas Grandmaison move between the firms.

The world’s second largest broker – and senior partner in 2020/21’s abortive merger deal between the two firms – alleged that a number of the departing staff have violated their client non-solicit/non-service and employee non-solicit/non-hire covenants.
