Allstate June cat losses up 82.5% year on year at $356mn

Allstate has pegged its June catastrophe losses at $356mn, or $281mn after-tax, compared to $195mn, or $154mn after-tax, in June 2021.

The reported cat losses stem from 10 events, primarily wind and hail in the Midwest, estimated at $315mn, plus unfavorable reserve reestimates for prior period events.
