Cyber claims severity dips 8%, frequency falls 7% YoY in H1 2022: Coalition

Cyber InsurTech Coalition said its policyholders saw a slight decrease in both the severity and frequency of cyber claims in the first half of the year, according to its 2022 mid-year cyber claims report.​​​​​​​

According to the report, ransomware demands have also decreased as more companies refuse to pay. Meanwhile, Coalition found that the biggest risk remains employees who respond to phishing attacks.
