Palo Alto-based InsurTech Bamboo Ide8 Insurance has raised $16mn in a Series A funding round led by Eos Venture Partners and existing investors.

Founded in 2018, Bamboo has raised $75mn in financing since then to support organic growth in California, the buildout of a retail agency and the launch of a Bermuda-domiciled captive entity.
