Ian to intensify to Cat 4 and shift northward over Port Charlotte: NHC

As Hurricane Ian barrels towards Florida’s west coast, its projected trajectory has shifted northwards since the National Hurricane Center’s (NHC) last forecast and is now set to make landfall just north of Port Charlotte.

In an earlier update, the NHC predicted Ian would make landfall just north of Cape Coral and Fort Myers.
