The first-ever hard market to hit the M&A insurance sector was over by the end of Q1 2022, according to independent brokerage Woodruff Sawyer.

The Californian intermediary said pricing levels seen at the end of 2021 have been dropping and the market has seen each risk receiving an increasing number of quotes.
