Boeing loss surges to ~$3bn, hammering reinsurers and retro market

Boeing’s claim from losses relating to the 737 Max planes has soared to around $3bn, an increase of ~$1.3bn, this publication can reveal.

Sources said the manufacturer’s claim is now the largest in the history of the aviation market in nominal terms having exceeded the $2.5bn
