Global Indemnity has reported an estimated $1.5mn in pre-tax catastrophe losses from Hurricane Ian for the third quarter of 2022.

The company added that the estimate is based on currently available information.

GBLI continued that the level of Ian losses represents its efforts to reduce its catastrophe exposures.
