Poseidon Acquisition Corp is to acquire asset manager Atlas in an all-cash transaction, for an enterprise value of about $10.9bn.

Poseidon is an entity owned by affiliates of P&C backer Fairfax, the Washington Family, Ocean Network Express (One) and David Sokol, chairman of Atlas’ board.
