Vista Equity takes InsurTech Duck Creek private for $2.6bn

Technology-focused investment firm Vista Equity Partners has closed an all-cash deal to buy P&C software provider Duck Creek Technologies for $2.6bn.

Under the terms of the deal, Duck Creek shareholders will receive $19 per share, or a 46% premium to the InsurTech’s closing stock price on Friday, and around 64% over the average stock price for the last month.
