Insurers are likely to consider buying additional limit later in 2023 to plug gaps they could not fill during the hectic 1 January period, Aon has predicted.

In a report summarizing the 1 January reinsurance renewals, the intermediary noted that despite expectations of demand for significantly more limit for 2023, driven by inflation, cedants did not secure meaningfully more property coverage this year.
