Miami-based MGA Specialty Lines Underwriters (SLU) has hired Patricia Fernandez as new claims senior vice president (SVP), this publication can reveal.

The executive has experience in property, casualty, marine and financial lines (re)insurance claims across the Latin America region. Between 2013 and 2020, Fernandez served as claims manager at WTW in Colombia after a stint at Cunningham Lindsey in Brazil.
