Howden Tiger, the reinsurance arm of Howden Broking Group, has appointed Garrick Smith and Jim Walsh as senior brokers in its casualty division.

Both will be based in the US, reporting to Josh Everdell, head of global clients and global casualty.

Smith joins from Guy Carpenter, where he most recently held the position of managing director.
