PCF Insurance has received a $500mn preferred equity investment, co-led by Carlyle's Global Credit platform and private equity firm HGGC, an existing minority investor.

JP Morgan served as sole placement agent for the transaction. At the time of investment, PCF’s valuation was $4.7bn.
