AIG Syndicate 2019 posted a combined ratio of 107.4% for 2022, a 6.2-point reduction on the previous year, as catastrophe losses took a lower toll on results than in 2021.

The syndicate reported a $64.2mn loss for the year, significantly down from the $101.3mn loss reported in 2021, as the insurer shrank the high-net-worth portfolio ceded into the syndicate.
