BroadStreet takes lead in Q1 deal count as overall insurance M&A falls 17%: Optis

BroadStreet Partners was the most acquisitive broker during the first quarter with 14 deals, overtaking Acrisure and Hub International, which led all buyers a year ago, consulting firm Optis Partners reported.

The Ohio-based brokerage just struck its largest ever deal with the acquisition of a majority stake in Canadian independent broker Westland Insurance.
