Shareholders approve Everest name change to Everest Group

Everest Re Group’s shareholders have approved an official name change to Everest Group following a rebrand of the business last year.

At the Bermudian’s annual general meeting on 17 May, investors voted in favour of the change, which will also mean a new ticker for its New York Stock Exchange listing: NYSE:EG.
