Hafize Gaye Erkan has stepped down from Marsh McLennan’s board of directors as she takes up her role as governor of Turkey’s central bank.

The banking executive was appointed to the Marsh McLennan board in March 2022. She served on the intermediary firm’s audit, directors and governance committees.
