Travelers’ president of personal insurance, Michael Klein, said while inflationary pressures in the auto division are beginning to show signs of easing, they are not improving at the rate the company expected.

On a call with analysts, Klein said the company is not yet achieving the written rate adequacy levels it had anticipated for personal auto.
