H1 2023 insured losses for convective storms in the US will exceed the current record set in 2011, considering potential loss development, according to Aon.

In its "H1 2023 Global Cat Recap" report, the brokerage firm noted that the first quarter of 2023 was already the costliest Q1 on record for US severe convective storms (SCS).
