Obsidian Insurance Group has appointed CFO and COO Craig Rappaport as president after he played a key role in developing and executing the fronting carrier’s strategy that focussed on operations and underwriting profitability.

Rappaport will continue to hold the COO position alongside his new responsibilities, while Nick Dagenais has been promoted to CFO.
