Farmers pulls back on Georgia non-renewals as commissioner intervenes

Farmers has rescinded “tens of thousands” of non-renewal notices to Georgia customers initially scheduled to go into effect in August, according to Georgia’s insurance commissioner, John King.

The non-renewals would have impacted Georgia homeowners with roofs over 15 years old, said King, who called it a “blatant violation of Georgia law”.
