Aspen reports 83.8% combined ratio for H1 as GWP dips 10%

Aspen has reported a 10% drop in gross written premium (GWP) in the first half of 2023, with the carrier recording GWP of $2.13bn at group level.

The (re)insurer also reported a 4.4-point improvement on its combined ratio, at 83.8%, for the first six months of the year.
