Moody’s has placed the insurance financial strength (IFS) and surplus notes ratings of Farmers Insurance Exchange – the lead member of Farmers – on review for downgrade.

The agency also placed the A3 IFS ratings of other members of Farmers' intercompany pool on review for downgrade.
