AM Best has upped its outlook for Skyward Specialty to positive from stable and affirmed its A- financial strength and a- long-term issuer credit ratings.

The ratings reflect the specialty carrier’s balance sheet strength, as well as its marginal operating performance, neutral business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management, AM Best said on Friday.
