Property lines still volatile in generally predictable environment for buyers

The property market is continuing to face challenges as a result of climate change and a restrictive reinsurance environment in what is a generally predictable market environment for most insurance buyers, a Lockton report finds. 

The report noted that Q2 marked the 23rd consecutive quarter of year-over-year property rate increases, with rates rising 21% on average and further increases expected for the rest of the year.
