Insurance cover ‘sufficient’ for $100mn cyberattack hit: MGM

MGM Resorts International has reported that a September cyberattack on its Las Vegas resort will result in a $100mn earnings hit, but its insurance coverage is “sufficient” to cover the loss.

The company’s Las Vegas casinos were hit by a cyberattack last month, in which casino employees had their login details stolen and resold in underground forums.
