Transportation insurers face downward pressure from rising costs, increased capacity

A new report from Risk Placement Services (RPS) says transportation insurers are facing downward pricing pressure due to increased competition and near-record capacity, coupled with a post-Covid drop in demand for transport services.

RPS said that downward pricing pressure is greater this year than at any time since the beginning of the pandemic.
