Casualty QS ceding commissions to improve ‘considerably’: Everest COO

Reductions in ceding commissions for casualty reinsurance will accelerate and need to accelerate in 2024, said Everest Group COO Jim Williamson.

On a call with analysts, the executive said: “Our expectation is that ceding commissions will continue to improve. We've seen that movement already begin and we expect it to strengthen considerably as we move into 2024.”
