Aon announces 'acceleration' of Aon United with ~$900mn charge

Aon has disclosed that it will accelerate its Aon United strategy as it looks to deliver more integrated solutions to clients, with a ~$900mn cash charge taken over three years to support technology investment and headcount reduction.

The group disclosed the move alongside its third quarter results which included organic growth of 6% - in line with the second quarter - led by 11% organic growth in reinsurance.
