There has a been an increase in the global representations and warranties (R&W) notification count in 2022, driven by record M&A deals in prior years, which has since fallen in 2023, according to Liberty global transaction solutions' (GTS) latest M&A claims briefing.

The report is the fourth annual briefing based on the company’s analysis of its own M&A insurance claims since 2019.
