Louisiana’s insurance commissioner Jim Donelon has suspended New Orleans agent Syed Azizuddin Baghdadi and his agency Gator Insured following an investigation of suspected fraudulent activity.

The investigation by the Louisiana Department of Insurance (LDI) Office of Insurance Fraud determined that Baghdadi and Gator falsified information and misappropriated premiums, leaving multiple customers uncovered during the ongoing hurricane season.
