Aspen shaves nearly 18 points off combined ratio over Q3

Aspen Group’s third-quarter operating income increased to $78.9mn compared with a loss of $43.3mn in Q3 2022 on the back of “disciplined underwriting, careful portfolio management and operational efficiency”.

The Bermudian (re)insurer also shaved 17.6 points off its combined ratio year on year, improving from 110.3% in Q3 2022 to 92.7%.
