Gallagher Re has promoted Mark Hansen to chief operating officer as current COO Chris Brook departs, the reinsurance broker announced on Tuesday.

Hansen’s role will be effective after a transition period with Brook. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Hansen will report to Gallagher Re CEO Tom Wakefield.
