The 2024 P&C global outlook is negative due to continued weak underwriting results in personal lines, particularly in the US and Europe, according to a new report from Moody’s.

In 2023, the US posted “solid growth”, according to the ratings agency’s Global P&C Insurance 2024 Outlook report, but a modest slowdown in 2024-25 is expected.
