The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) today approved a 2024 budget with an increase in net operating expenses to $40.2mn, up from $35.2mn in the 2023 budget.

TWIA had previously said it expects reinsurance costs to continue rising amid increased exposure and the current hard reinsurance market.
