Sands Point Risk launches with flagship transaction liability insurance practice

Sands Point Risk, a managing general agent, has launched with a transaction liability insurance (TLI) practice, confirming earlier reports by this publication. The TLI practice will offer a full suite of products, including representation and warranties, tax liability and contingent liability insurance.

The firm is led by CEO Dennis Kearns, a 25-year industry veteran who founded the transaction solutions program at DUAL, producing total gross written premium exceeding $600mn.
